People are encouraged to bring their questions and opinions. So enough seating can be set up, RSVPs are requested, but not required. Call Paula Schmidt at 687-2302 or write pschmidt@eastauroraschools.org.
The meeting, called a “Budget Development Forum,” is the first in recent years and part of the school district’s new emphasis on communication, said Kris Ward, community relations coordinator.
Milestones ahead in the budget season are: a preliminary budget presentation on March 5; the board’s April 23 adoption of the budget it will present to the public; a May 7 public hearing; the budget vote on May 20.
