Hundreds of local volunteers are expected for the 28th annual Great Lakes Beach Sweep from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday as part of the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup.
Headquarters for the sweep will be at Woodlawn Beach State Park in Hamburg, where there will be free parking. Volunteers can help at any shoreline along Lake Erie from Woodlawn to Ripley.
