Magical guests and activities will be featured today as an “Enchanted Forest” is created at Burchfield Art & Nature, 2001 Union Road.The free family event, scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. – rain or shine, aims to encourage awareness of the magic in nature.
Activities include a hidden treasure hunt, face painting and crafts for children. Youngsters will have an opportunity to create fairy, elf and gnome houses.
In addition, several renditions of fairy houses are on display in the gallery.

• The Town Board will hold a regular meeting at 2 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 1250 Union Road.
• Jim Yeomans Band is Tuesday’s featured performer, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Summer Concert Series at the Burchfield Nature & Art Center.
