Three minors were arrested last Tuesday in connection with recent car break-ins in the Village of Springville and attempted sales of a stolen handgun, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.
Detectives said the three minors each attempted to sell the handgun at different times, and the weapon has been recovered.
The three were charged with felony grand larceny of a firearm, felony criminal sale of a firearm to a minor, felony possession of a firearm with intent to sell, felony criminal possession of a firearm and acting in a manner to injure a child under 17. Each was issued an appearance ticket and released to a guardian.
