Erie County will next month hold a couple of seminars on how to purchase properties that have been seized through tax foreclosure.
The seminars will be hosted by the county’s director of Real Property Tax Services, Joseph L. Maciejewski, who will offer insight into the foreclosure process as well as the procedure for purchasing such properties at the next tax foreclosure sale set for Sept. 24. Currently, there are over 300 tax foreclosed properties listed for sale by the county. Both seminars are scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The first will be held August 20 in the board room at Amherst Town Hall, 5583 Main St. Williamsville, and second one will be held Aug. 21 in the auditorium of the Cheektowaga Senior Center, 3349 Broadway, Cheektowaga.
