Western New York Independent Living Inc. offers a self-defense awareness group specifically designed for personal protection and confidence-building for people with disabilities, at noon Friday in its facility located at 3108 Main St. The group will provide options to being mistreated and abused, address scenarios to avoid, tackle and control confrontation in realistic situations.
