The Erie County Office for the Disabled and its private industry partners will hold a Diversity Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the downtown branch of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library.

The event is being held in honor of Autism Awareness Month in April, and will feature representatives from more than 25 local employers, including Univera Health, Wegmans, Autism Services and the Cantalician Center for Learning, who will offer job and career information to those who attend.

“The Diversity Career Fair is a great way for job seekers to meet face-to-face with potential employers and explore jobs and careers,” said Frank Cammarata III, director of the county’s Office for the Disabled.

The county office also joins with its partners each October to host the annual National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a campaign to raise awareness about employment issues faced by the disabled.
