Two juvenile boys have been arrested for allegedly taking part in the brutal beating of a 12-year-old boy in Angola two weeks ago, Evans Town police sad Monday. The two boys whose names were not released, face Erie County Family Court proceedings on assault and conspiracy charges.
A third suspect in the beating, Ian Ross, 16, of Evans, is being prosecuted as an adult on felony assault, robbery, harassment, petit larceny and conspiracy counts for the attack on Commercial Street in Angola March 9. The 12-year-old boy, whose cell phone was stolen, was treated at Women and Children’s Hospital for facial and other injuries.
Police said Ross gave them a signed confession and admitted he put a burning cigarette to the neck of the victim and “stomped” his head.
