Entries are being accepted from high school students for the annual congressional art competition, Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, announced.
Artwork must be submitted to Higgins’ Buffalo office at 726 Exchange St., Suite 601, or his Niagara Falls office at 640 Park Place, by April 18.
All entries will be on display in the lobby of the Larkin at Exchange Building, 726 Exchange St., from April 24 to May 4, when Higgins will host a reception at which the winners will be announced.
All submissions also will be posted online at https://higgins.house.gov. The public will be able to vote for their favorites online.
One piece from each congressional district will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol Building. The winning students will attend a ribbon-cutting there.
