John R. Scannell, chief executive officer of Moog Inc., has added the title of chairman of the board for the Elma-based aerospace and motion control company.
Scannell’s appointment as chairman took effect Jan. 8. He has served as Moog’s CEO for more than two years. Robert T. Brady had continued to serve as executive chairman after stepping down as CEO in 2011. His term as chairman expired this month.
